Live broadcast, July 29 -chris Duarte, a Dominican player and King defender, updated Twitter and announced that he would not play in this year’s men’s basketball World Cup.

Duarte said in the video, “Hello everyone, how are you? I am Chris Duarte. I am here to let you know that I will not join the Dominica national team this year (I will not play in the men’s basketball World Cup). I will support the team with my family and hope you can understand my decision.”

Duarte was traded to the King by Pacers during the offseason. Last season, he averaged 7.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists.

In the men’s basketball World Cup this year, Dominica was in Group A with the Philippines, Italy and Angola.
